We are very proud to be hosting the launch of Cat Treadwell's first book! (see poster by clicking here)
What do people think of when they hear the word ‘Druidry?'
The real questions, not the ‘old men in white robes' stereotypes. What makes a Druid? What do they do? This book hopes to answer some of those questions. For the benefit of those who prefer the more traditional methods of finding information, Cat has compiled and expanded on some of the more common queries
as well as focusing on the day-to-day aspects of Druidry as a lived path, constantly evolving to be relevant and accessible in the modern world.
Cat is an active Druid Priest in the community, regularly performing public rites throughout the UK and giving talks in both the Pagan community and in schools, hospitals and businesses. A Trustee of The Druid Network and Awenydd of the Anglesey Druid Order, she is a multifaith volunteer for Derbyshire and Nottingham NHS Trusts, and Deputy Regional Representative for East Midlands Pagan Federation. She also has a base here at the centre where you can book her for readings, consultations, meditations and much more.
Cat will be available from 12noon for you to meet and for her to sign her new book plus she will be giving readings from the book at 2pm and 4pm. 6pm is when the party starts with a buffet and lots of celebrations! Please do join us in supporting Cat for this very special event :)
Tickets are priced at £10 and are available here for those who want to come to the party, share some food and generally help us to celebrate Cat's awesome achievement (and don't forget to buy your books while you're here!)
