Translated from Japanese to English, Reiki means Universal (Rei) Life Force Energy (Ki).
This energy is everywhere around us, we can see it in everything that lives such as the heat from the sun, the growth of a flower and even in every electrical nerve signal our body sends and receives.
When our energy is out of balance we can start to feel unwell.
For example; when we spend too much time in front of a computer screen, we absorb the manmade energy it gives out. This creates blockages in our energy flow and we suffer eyestrain and headaches.

What to expect during a treatment.
The first time you visit us, you will be asked for a full medical history to ensure you can have a Reiki treatment.
You will then be made comfortable on the couch, lying first on your front and then on your back so the whole of your body can be treated.
You should expect to feel calm, relaxed and you may even find that you fall asleep during the treatment.
You may feel warmth or tingling during the treatment but every person who experiences Reiki will feel something different.
If you are at all concerned about what you sense during a treatment, you should speak up. |

How much will it cost?
Your first Reiki session takes about an hour and a half
and costs £38.00.
Follow ups take about an hour
and cost £35.00.
These are both full body treatments.
Half sessions are available, they last around 30 minutes and cost £25.00. |
